It’s a painfully accurate way to describe a very real disease that so many struggle with. Isabelle likens her addition to a shadow that will never go away. This episode does an excellent job of showing the struggles of recovery. Izzy’s relapse is hitting her hard, but she has the support of her family and friends to help her through it. He is super worried that he has knocked her out of her recovery – and he’s right. But Heidi won’t go so kindly into the night – she decides to start a war between vamps to get back in the vampire’s good graces. Jordan is determined to take her down without violence, but Heidi (and werewolf, Nick) aren’t down for that.
